Every two years the dreadful village pantomime rears its ugly head. The Combe-themed spectaculars attract crowds from across the land. The hall can be hired for regular rehearsals as well as the main events.
Recently, the hall committee organised a bash for the village – the Gittisham Bash! – and events included a duck race, a cooking demonstration given by chefs from The Pig at Combe hotel, a village walk led by two of our most knowledgeable residents, cake and tea in the hall and Bill’s boules tournament. This culminated in an evening of music, food and very energetic dancing.
