Parliamentary Election for
TIVERTON & HONITON
Constituency
1. An election is to be held of one Member of Parliament for Tiverton & Honiton.
2. Forms of nomination for the Parliamentary election may be obtained at Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 6PP from the Acting Returning Officer who will, at the request of an elector for any electoral area prepare a nomination paper for signature.
3. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Acting Returning Officer, Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 6PP on any day after the date of this notice between the hours of 10 am and 4pm but no later than 4pm on Wednesday, 9th April 2014.
4. The required deposit may be made either by the deposit of any legal tender, by means of a banker’s draft or, with the Acting Returning Officer’s consent, in any other manner (including by debit card or the electronic transfer of funds).
5. If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 7th May 2015.
6. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 6PP by 5pm on Tuesday, 21st April 2015.
7. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 6PP by 5pm on Tuesday, 28th April 2015.
8. Applications to vote by proxy at this election applied for on grounds of physical incapacity or employment, where that physical incapacity or work commitment occurred after 5pm on Tuesday, 28th April 2015, must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Phoenix House, Phoenix Lane, Tiverton, Devon, EX16 6PP by 5pm on Thursday, 7th May 2015.
